How do I attend?

You may attend in person at Marquette University Law School, 1215 West Michigan, Street   OR  via webcast at: http://law.marquette.edu/jw/brownbag (click on the presentation link a few minutes before the presentation begins)

Is free parking available for attendees coming from off-campus?

Yes, however you must pre-resister 24 hours in advance  to take advantage of this.  You may park in the parking lot of the Law School (1215 West Michigan Street).  When you enter the Law School’s main entrance, you may give your name to the receptionist and ask for parking validation.

If I cannot attend on the date of the presentation, will it be archived on the web?

The presentation will be archived at http://law.marquette.edu/jw/brownbag.  Note that CLE credit cannot be given to those who only listen to the podcast.

Do I need to pre-register?

YES, if you are attending in person.  If you are attending online, pre-registration is recommended (to assist in communication regarding technical difficulties, etc), but not required.  Register by choosing a "ticket" above for the date of your desired training.

If I attend online, how do I get CLE (attorneys) or Pro Bono (students) credit?

The law school will apply for 1.5 CLE’s for this presentation and students may count the time towards their Pro Bono Society hours.  CLE credit can only be given to in-person attendees and online attendees who view the live version of the presentation.  To obtain credit, you fill out the Online Attendance Form after the presentation.  (Those attending in person will fill out a standard paper attendance sheet).

How do I obtain handouts if I attend online?

Go to the Brown Bag CLE Website (http://law.marquette.edu/jw/brownbag) and you may print them before the presentation begins

What should I do if I have technical difficulties during the webcast?

First try refreshing your screen (F5 on most PCs) or try closing your browser window and re-opening it, as this resolves many issues.  However, if you have these or any other problems during the presentation, you can email mulawtech@marquette.edu during the presentation.  If you have questions prior to the presentation, you may email lori.zahorodny@marquette.edu.
